La Nenette is a Portuguese cake, created by two Portuguese women.

 

It's a French cake created in the 1940's by "Nenette", a refugee who came to Portugal after the second world war. Her recipe was a family secret until 2020, when her great-granddaughter decided to create the La Nenette cake and brand.

The brand aims to rescue the family tradition and connect with the new generations.
